Financial Times: Syria will become a grand diplomatic step of Putin

25 September 2015 20:12

Offered Russian help in the fight with a group of LIH, Russia, Putin returned to the world stage in the status of an influential player, writes Financial Times.

The obvious proof of the diplomatic success of Russia is the agreement of President Barack Obama to meet with the Russian president. The publication notes that despite the negative background in US-Russian relations, Putin became the figure that Washington can not ignore.

"When it comes to reach colleagues by surprise, the Syrian gambit Putin again showed that it is flexible tactics" - the author writes.

Russia poses a few problems in Syria. Moscow would support the government until the end of Bashar Assad, and in case of his resignation will try to prevent the anarchy that followed the overthrow of Saddam Hussein's regime and Gaddafi in Libya and Iraq, respectively.

In addition, Russia will strengthen its influence in the Middle East, as well as to protect its naval base in Tartus.

The head of the Pentagon Ashton Carter said that in Syria, the US and Russia may share common interests.

In an interview with the American CBS television network Putin, responding to a question about the purpose of leading Russia in Syria, Putin did not deny that Moscow is trying to save the Assad government

U.S. threatens China with sanctions ahead of Jinping's talks with Obama

Now that's hospitality: U.S. threatens China with sanctions ahead of Jinping's talks with Obama

Thanks, but no thanks.
Chinese President Xi Jinping's US tour might leave a nasty aftertaste after Washington threatened Beijing with economic sanctions over alleged hacker attacks against American business entities

Xi is touring the US ahead of negotiations with Obama, meeting senior business figures and securing huge deals, but the US administration has an agenda of its own and does not limit itself with formal ceremonies.

The recent cyber scandal at the Office of Personnel Management, already dubbed the biggest government hack in US history, when the agency admitted the hackers gained access to 5.6 million fingerprint records, has pushed the US administration to decisive steps.

"This is not just a matter of us being mildly upset, but is something that will put significant strains on the bilateral relationship if not resolved," President Obama said.

Obama's press secretary Josh Earnest said Thursday presidential office is considering economic sanctions against Chinese individuals and entities claiming they profited from the results of the hacks made in the US networks.

"I will just say that we have made clear our concerns about China's activity in cyberspace," the Guardiancited Earnest as saying. "There are a range of tools that are at the president's disposal to respond to those concerns. We do believe that having those tools on the table, including possible financial sanctions, have been effective as a deterrent and in advancing our interest in that regard."

And in case anyone doubts America's hacking capabilities, President Obama said that "Although the Chinese and Russians are close, we're still the best at this," adding that if the US goes on the offense, "a whole bunch of countries would have some significant problems."

Comment: Yep. Let that one sink in.

Punishing alleged international cybercrime with economic sanctions is a newsflash and the White House might become a pioneer in that undertaking. China has consistently denied all cybercrime allegations

Traditions mean a lot in the East, where hosting high-ranking guests is an honor and responsibility. The threat of sanctions comes just as the guest has crossed the US threshold. Earnest has also accused Chinese officials of unfairness, promising to pay "particular attention to China's behavior and their conduct," because, as he told the White House press corps, "Their actions are more important than their words."

The number of irritants in China-US relations appears to be growing steadily, with Washington and Beijing trading accusations about many issues for years. Cybercrime has always been positioned high on the list of bilateral accusations.

As the world's superpower (the US) and the world's emerging superpower (China), the two are locking horns diplomatically, commercially and to a certain extent militarily everywhere possible.

With China having territorial disputes with most of its neighbors, the US is rigorously backing Beijing's opponents and arming them, also sending additional troops and military hardware to the region in order to challenge China's claims in the South China Sea.

For example Beijing has a territorial dispute with Tokyo over a group of Senkaku Islands (Diaoyu Islands in Chinese) in the South China Sea, with Washington maintaining naval presence in the region.

"As a large country with a powerful military, you can't move around and push your little neighbors around just because you're bigger," Obama said. The statement raised some eyebrows because that's exactly what many think the US does.

In turn, China pays little to none attention to Washington's critics over Beijing's constructing artificial islands and facilities in disputed waters in the South China Sea.

With China preparing to replace the US as the world's leading economy, every piece of economic news from Beijing is met with a nervous reaction from Washington.

Such was the case with the announcement of China planning to launch its own crude oil benchmark denominated in yuan, not US dollars.

In one case, the US and China have become rivals at a continental level. In Africa they compete over resources, in which Beijing has been investing for years now, establishing a secure African foothold.

Unlike the traditional international investment, China invests in Africa in a flexible way, opting to do business on an equal partnership basis without interfering in the internal affairs of the respective countries. The US opts for a more confrontational approach, forming the AFRICOM military command and moving drone bases there.

Washington and Beijing have accumulated tons of outstanding sensitive issues and whether President Xi's visit is going to solve at least some of them is to be seen soon, with the respective leaders preparing to test their personal ties this Friday.

Comment: 'Equal partnership', cooperation, respect, hospitality - these are foreign concepts for the U.S. It's either the U.S. in a position of superiority and domination, or nothing. China disagrees. They are also friends with Russia. That makes them doubly bad, in the U.S.'s books. And the U.S. is trying every dirty trick in their arsenal to reassert their largely illusory status as the ruler of a unipolar world.

The great power is back Putin is simultaneously masterminding a Ukraine endgame

All eyes on New York for Putin the Great

The great power is back Putin is simultaneously masterminding a Ukraine endgame...

Vladimir Vladimirovich returns to the Lion's Den (aka NYC)
It's the ultimate geopolitical cliffhanger of the season: will US President Barack Obama finally decide to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, either this Friday or during the UN General Assembly next week in New York?

Russia's game changer in Syria - not only weapons delivery but also the prospect of actual intervention by the Russian Air Force - has left the Beltway reeling.

Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Walled Muallem has made it clear to RT that direct Russian involvement in the fight against ISIS/ISIL/Daesh and those "moderates" (US neocon designation) of Jabhat al-Nusra, a.k.a. Al-Qaeda in Syria, is even more important than the arms delivery.

Washington, meanwhile, remains mired in a geopolitical black-hole as far as Putin's strategy is concerned. The Obama administration's response will hinge on how Putin's speech at the UN will be received across the world, and how the frantic diplomacy related to the Syrian theatre of war will fare.

It's naïve to interpret the Russian military build-up as a mere show of force, an invitation to the Americans to finally sit down and discuss everything from southwest Asia to Ukraine.

It's also naïve to interpret the move as Moscow's desperation for some kind of dialogue, any dialogue. There are no illusions at the Kremlin. Obama and Putin exchanged a few words in Beijing late last year - and that's it; no official visits, no detailed meetings.

What's certain is that Putin's latest chess move carries the potential to smash to pieces the Obama administration's post-Maidan "strategy" of isolating Russia. Thus the predictable fear, loathing and paranoia permeating the Beltway.

Old Cold War 2.0 habits die hard - if at all. Washington may extend the proverbial "financial support" to failed state, bankrupt Ukraine, and the pressure over the EU to keep sanctions throughout 2016 will remain. US 'Think Tankland' keeps frantically spinning that the Obama administration is "not ready" to deal with Russia.

Well, at least the White House and the State Department seem to have finally understood that those Sukhois and surface-to-air missiles now in Syria are there to protect the Latakia air base. It was up to the Pentagon to elucidate a clueless John Kerry; these are for "force protection".

The new batch includes 4 Su-30SM multi-role combat jets; 12 Su-25 ground attack jets; 12 Su-24M attack fighters; and six possible Ka-52 attack helicopters. According to IHS Jane's, these provide "a significant capability to target rebels opposed to the Syrian government and to secure the Latakia homeland of President Bashar al-Assad."

The elucidation came after Pentagon supremo Ash Carter and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu held a 50-minute phone talk. The fact that this was their first phoner in more than a year tells everything one needs to know about the Obama administration's "diplomatic" skills.

Inevitably, Kerry had to change his tune; the weapons do not raise "serious questions" anymore. Now Kerry is essentially saying Moscow has the right to turbo-charge its peace-for-Syria drive, and the White House is not fussy about Assad's departure date anymore, as long as there is a "transition".

Watch the chessboard

Putin is bound to deliver a showstopper at the UN. Spare a thought for the Obama administration's foreign policy 'muppets', including the neocon cell at the State Department. Putin, under the glare of global public opinion, will frame the absolute defeat of ISIS/ISIL/Daesh as the key geopolitical issue of these times; he will commit Russia to it; and he will propose for the "West" to join in.

Scenario 1: Washington and its EU minions decide to support the Russian drive, or at least have the US-led coalition of dodgy opportunists work side-by-side with Russia - and Iran. This means helping Damascus to win a real war against ("Caliphate") terror. "Assad must go" may even go afterwards. But he'll go as a winner. The Obama administration - as well as Sultan Erdogan, Qatar, the House of Saud - will be held responsible all across the world for prolonging a tragedy that could have been resolved in 2012. And Russia will be recognized as the ultimate defender of civilization against barbarism.

Scenario 2: Washington and the EU minions refuse to act side-by-side with Russia, and continue relying on the appalling performance of the coalition of the dodgy opportunists - for instance, as in Erdogan bombing Kurds and not ISIS/ISIL/Daesh, and the French staging puny airstrikes invoking "self-defense" (I'm not making this up; it's the official Elysée Palace version.) The whole world will interpret it for what it is; the NATO-GCC combo is not really interested in smashing the Salafi-jihadis. Imagine the cataclysmic diplomatic/geopolitical fallout of five years of NATO-GCC enabling hardcore jihadis.

And there's of course the coda; if the Syrian Arab Army/Russian military push against ISIS/ISIL/Daesh works, guess who'll take the credit.

So Putin wins on both scenarios. Forget about the relentless demonization, the new Hitler-Stalin memes. 'Putin The Great' will be no less than a Slavic Perseus - the slayer of the jihadi Medusa.

The great power is back

But there's more, much more. Whatever the scenario, 1 or 2, Putin is simultaneously masterminding a Ukraine endgame, which involves the end of sanctions, probably by 2017. The nations that really count in the EU want to scrap them. And scrap them they will if Putin does what they can't possibly do; smash the "Caliphate" that is sending wave after wave of refugees towards Fortress Europe.

Here I examined how any possible peace in Syria will be Putin's fault. Now imagine the consequences. Russia back as the real indispensable nation - in the Middle East and beyond. And Russia back as a great power - period.

Some signs of intelligent life in the EU can see it coming. Enter Helene Carrère d'Encausse, Russia-expert historian and member of the venerable Académie Française since 1990, of which she's the perpetual secretary. Madame d'Encausse clearly understands how Putin sees himself as the heir of Peter The Great; a great modernizer.

And even as he recognizes Europe is not the center of the world anymore, Putin is not an adversary of Europe. Nevertheless, he firmly believes that for the Americans and Europeans Russia is a country that can be treated with disdain. That must be imperatively reversed.

'Putin The Great's' project is to make Russia regain its status of a great power. When he was elected to the presidency in 2000 - I remember it well, I was in Moscow covering it - Russia was in total chaos, perpetrated by unbridled neoliberalism. Putin got Russia back on track.

What he wants most of all - contrary to superficial drivel reigning in US 'Think Tankland' - is not to remake the Russian or Soviet empire; but to get rid for good of the humiliation of the 1990s - the decade of plundering - and make the nation proud again. Just check his popularity level; 85 percent of Russians - and counting - agree.

Madame d'Encausse refers back historically to Count Sergey Uvarov, the imperial statesman behind Tsar Nicholas I, who defined the doxa in Russia in the mid-19th century as "orthodoxy, autocracy and national genius." She emphasizes this is the heart of Putin's ideology.

National genius, in this context, refers to a sense of social justice and a very Russian spirit of solidarity. Putin always emphasizes this spirit, which is an essential component of what it means to be Russian. And it is all tied up with nationalism. We just need to re-read Dostoevsky, for whom "the Russian nation is an extraordinary phenomenon in the history of human genius."

And then, of course, there's Islam - an immensely complicating factor.

There are over 20 million Muslims in Russia. Putin recognizes that Russia is also a Muslim state; it's in fact multi-confessional, and most Russian Muslims are Sunnis. Putin clearly identifies ISIS/ISIL/Daesh as a Sunni crusade against Shi'ites. At the same time he maintains very good relations with Shi'ite Iran and the Allawites in Syria. And he realizes that Sunni republics, former Russian and Soviet possessions, are at the gates of Russia.

So Putin has to continue analyzing Islam by taking into account both internal and foreign policy. What he clearly identified is that a Salafi-jihadi "Sunnistan" in "Syraq" is a very serious threat to Russia's national security. Aleppo is virtually next door to Grozny.

Sure, 'Putin The Great' harbors great ambition. But first things first; he cannot possibly allow the resurgent great power to be infiltrated and corroded by Western-enabled barbarians at the gate.

Comment: Pepe has posted an update to the above on his Facebook page:

The White House announced a while ago that the coin FINALLY dropped on Obama and he WILL talk to Putin at the UN General Assembly.

And now a senior adviser to Assad is saying that the US and Russia have reached a "tacit agreement" on ending the mess in Syria.

Quick recap. Putin started by refusing "Assad must go" as a prerequisite for peace negotiations.

Then he turbo-charged the military build up in Latakia - both the Pentagon and the White House DID NOT see it coming.

So this is what Putin accomplished even BEFORE Obama saw the light and decided to talk:

Forget about a Libya-remixed NATO war on Syria.

Forget about a Sultan Erdogan no-fly zone over areas controlled by Damascus.

And out with the old world order. THIS is how the new world order works, and Russia is also driving it.

Putin's speech on Monday at the UN will be about "the joint struggle against terrorism" (as branded by TASS).

Expect abundant apoplexy in the Washington/New York axis.
While the UK remains committed to Washington's line of 'removing Assad', the German government has taken Russia's position:

'Merkel admits Syrian conflict cannot be resolved without Bashar Assad '

Oliver Stone: America Is The Real Threat To The World, Not ISIS

Oliver Stone: America Is The Real Threat To The World, Not ISIS

Oliver Stone says that America is the real threat to the world, not ISIS

Oliver Stone has said in a new 10-part documentary that the real threat to the world is America, and not ISIS.
His new book and TV series “The Untold History of the United States” suggests that the U.S. governments destabilising influence in the world far predates ISIS. reports:
His new series pinpoints moments of American intrusion in the region as far back as the 1930s and follows it all the way to the CIA-backed Iranian coup in 1953, support for Afghanistan-based, anti-Soviet Union militants in the 1980s, George H.W. Bush’s Iraq invasion of 1990, and present-day efforts in Iran, Syria, and other countries.
Stone etched his way into the hearts and minds of the American public in the mid-to-late 1980s with two films depicting powerful experiences from the Vietnam War. Platoon and Born on the 4th of July represent Stone’s confusion over his own service in the war, for which he earned a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.
Stone’s JFK famously questioned the mainstream narrative of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, endearing the filmmaker to conspiracy theory circles for decades with a fictional account of a lawyer bringing the U.S. government to trial for its role in the assassination.
In recent years, Oliver Stone has received less acclaim for films like World Trade Center, which failed to question the mainstream narrative of 9/11, and W., which gave relatively gentle treatment to George W. Bush’s presidency.
Stone’s 2012 series, The Untold History of the United States, is a return to the intellectual form of one of his earliest successes, Salvador, which was strongly critical of the U.S.-supported right wing military of the Salvadoran Civil War. The last episode in the series is called Bush & Obama: Age of Terror. It covers the following subjects:
  • The Project For A New American Century, a neoconservative think tank that called for a Pearl Harbor-type event to catalyze military action in the Middle East
  • The tyranny of neoconservatives who pushed us to war with Iraq using faulty intelligence
  • The rushing through of the Patriot Act, which stripped Americans of a wide variety of civil liberties while bestowing legal precedent to the new surveillance state
  • The national brainwashing and fear-mongering of the War on Terror
  • Invading Afghanistan to defeat some of the same terrorists the U.S. armed and trained two decades earlier
  • Unconstitutional torture and interrogation tactics at Guantanamo Bay
  • The mainstream media’s facilitation of war through propaganda and corporate collusion
  • Obama selling out to J.P. Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, General Electric, and Big Pharma
  • The $700 billion financial bailout paid for by workers, pensioners, homeowners, small businessmen, and students with loans
  • The rise of CEO compensation amid the collapse of the middle class
  • Obama’s failure to deliver hope, change, or transparency, his prosecution of government whistleblowers, his fortification of Bush’s national security state (though he repudiated the unilateralism of Bush, he doubled down on troops and, according to Stone, “lacked the courage of a John F. Kennedy”)
  • Obama’s targeted drone strikes on Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Libya, and Somalia (includes a breathtaking clip of his remark to troops: “Unlike the old empires, we don’t make these sacrifices for territory or for resources….We do it because it’s right.”
Stone says his documentary series is an alternative approach to American history, one he hopes will fight the“educational crime” of exposing today’s schoolchildren to the propaganda of standard textbooks and television programs.
On this note, Stone doesn’t mince words:
“American exceptionalism has to be driven out of our curriculums. We’re not under threat. We are the threat.”

Fact: US and EU Money Is Killing Children in Ukraine (Interview)

Fact: US and EU Money Is Killing Children in Ukraine

There is an army … supported by European and American money, which is bombing houses and residential buildings, hospitals, orphanages, and schools – from 20 kilometers away.

There is total silence of the West on the tragedy of Donbass and the children who continue to die under the bombs in Southeast Ukraine. Even though the media in Italy and the west won't tell you, the war in the Donbass is continuing into the second year.
Why is nothing being said in Italy about the children dying from the bombing in eastern Ukraine? Do children somehow fall into some different category or not represent any interest in Italy, compared to the football news and the summer gossip?
Sputnik Italy spoke with Ennio Bordato, president of the “Help us save the children,” which directly helps children and victims of war in the Donbass.
Tatiana Santi: The war continues in the Donbass, but nothing is reported about it in Italy. Why do you think that is?
Ennio Bordato: Telling the truth about Donbass means making people think, making people understand where Europe is headed. Europe is hostage to the US, and serves an American policy that absolutely wants to snatch Russia from Europe and Italy from Russia.
Tatiana Santi: The war in the Donbass is therefore part of an even larger project in your opinion?
E. B: Yes, it's a war principally economic in outlook. The Europe that was growing in economic and cultural ties between countries is undermining the US economy, which can not afford to lose Europe and let dialogue and economic relations prosper between Russia and Europe.
T. S. Just in the city of Gorlovka 16 children died in the first half of 2015. How long will this silence of the West go on, about the children killed in the Donbass? Will this ever get into the press?

E. B. I believe that it will never. This is a very strange war: there is an army, patched together and supported by European and American money, which is bombing houses and residential buildings, hospitals, orphanages, and schools – from 20 kilometers away.
It is a particularly vicious and inhumane war. Among the civilian casualties are children who were unable to escape and be greeted by the Russian Federation.
Recall that are more than one and half million civilians, displaced from Eastern Ukraine, have found shelter and social services in Russia.
Over 900,000 refugees from Donbass want to stay in Russia.
Many have fled as refugees to Russia, but many remained in the Donbass, where there's no longer any infrastructure, not to speak of subsidies.
It is the tragedy in the tragedy. There are children who do not get out of the cellars for months, if only to get some air for an hour, like prisoners, hoping the while that some bomb does not fall on their head.
T. S. We do not know how long this war is going to last. When will it end? What do you think will become of the rubbled cities of the Donbass?
E. B: It's a matter of the destruction of every economic and civil activity. We speak of people getting bombed out, but let's also consider the social impact. It is a tragedy that will last for the next 20-30 years. If and when the war will end, it will be up to the political side to solve the problems. At the current stage the policy is dead and so is the capacity for dialogue. The American project is being carried out in perfect conditions.
We have to continue to open people's eyes, to state that this war exists! We have to try to make it clear that the solution is European autonomy, a Europe that is not based on money, but on its culture, on relations with all, with the United States, sure, but also with Russia.

The refugees (ONLINE) Sent Pictures: As they stormed the border with Hungary

The refugees (ONLINE) Sent Pictures: As they stormed the border with Hungary

At the moment the refugees tried to storm the border with Hungary. First groups of migrants tried to break through the border, but they did not work, because the path was blocked by a Hungarian special forces. Then the Hungarian refugees started throwing stones and sticks the police, who responded with tear gas and water cannons. Learn more about what caused this situation, I wrote in this post. This post will be updated continuously.

20:55 In addition, there is information about the first person to be punished for illegally crossing the border. We know that it is an Iraqi, and that to get to Hungary, he tried yesterday. Today, apparently, no one was detained.
20:53 media write that today zavarushka on the border began after the Hungarian authorities denied the group of Syrian refugees in the shelter, allegedly without examining their cases individually.
20:08 Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban meanwhile promised build a fence along the border, and more with Croatia.
20:03 Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic said he does not understand why Hungary does not open the border, because the refugees still not going to stay in the country and want to go further, to Germany and Scandinavia. According to him, Croatia will grant to refugees to freely pass through the country to the destination. Slovenia, in turn, said that no "corridor" for refugees will not settle.
20:00 Migrants give here such a memo with a delicate hint of what they seek to Hungary should not - say, just let go to Croatia and Slovenia. Austria, meanwhile, said it introduces control of the border with Slovenia, so that the refugees will have to choose other ways to migrate.
19:58 The confrontation between the workers and the Hungarian special forces continues, but without the use of force. Now they are lined up "wall to wall" along the border.
19:13 Migrants continue to move restlessly on the border crossings. It seems that not everyone understands what they should do next.
19:04 Details of the correspondent Nigina Beroeva when the gates opened at the border, he rushed to the crowd of refugees, almost crossed the coveted EU border, but after some time, ran back. Why it happened is not completely clear. Hungarian security forces to reassure workers, a loud siren included in the special equipment. On the border still remains a lot of refugees.
19:02 Serbian fire extinguisher came, they saw that everything that could have burned, turned around and left. Some pregnant girl started to give birth. Other accidents have not yet been observed.
19:00 By the way, before the border was opened, the refugees took the maneuver in the Palestinian style - led to the fence all the women and children to protect themselves from the smoke bombs and water cannons.
18:57 Now it is known that part of the Refugees (something around 400 people) has taken into its territory of Croatia. But they may have to wade to other EU countries through the minefields left over from the time of the fighting in Yugoslavia.
18:52 Just an hour ago in Budapest said that the Serbian-Hungarian border will remain closed for at least another 30 days. But Serbia has expressed a strong protest in connection with the use of special equipment Hungarian security forces on the border. And the gate opened ...
18:51 hotHungary opened its border! Let's see what will happen next.
18:08 Serbian police that migrants met with applause.
18:05 Refugees or are tired of fighting, or taking distraction: all came to the fence, they just tried to break down, and try to chat amiably with riot police, cheering and they all pretend to love and appreciate the non-violent resistance.
18:04 Now Serbian police quietly standing in the middle of refugees and watches, like those attacking the fence and attack the Hungarians.
18:01 Hungarian MFA urged the Serbian authorities to "act" on migrants storming the Hungarian border. Let's see how the Serbs will react.
17:59 Among the victims of the gas have children. Photo: Carlo Angerer
17:56Slovenia urgently introduce control over the border with Hungary!
17:55 Here on the border there are some abandoned buildings (old and duty free More any), which is used as a refugee shelter.
17:53Affected by tear gas being taken away by the arm refugees away from the border.
17:49 scheme works like this: first, the refugees run to the border and fill up the Hungarian riot police with stones and sticks.Once the shells have come to an end, they are flying smoke bombs and water cannons hit, and migrants depart.
17:47 Video start collision. The numerical superiority is clearly on the side of the workers.

17:46 Here he is, a true symbol of protest! Everything was shrouded in black smoke.

17:43 Migrants began to burn tires!

17:41 Above the battlefield helicopter circling.

17:39 Volunteers save each other from the effects of tear gas.

17:35 Migrants collect fresh batch of stones, throw them to the police.

17: 32 On the Hungarian side to migrants flying bombs with tear gas. When refugees see them, they run away, but then again suited to the line.

17:30 Continue to work water cannons. Under them fall indiscriminately, including volunteers and journalists.

14 Years Later & People Are Still Waking Up To These Facts About 9/11

14 Years Later & People Are Still Waking Up To These Facts About 9/11

What happened on 9/11 was a horrific and unnecessary tragedy, and there are multiple reasons why many victims’ families, along with half the population of America (approximately 160,000,000 people, according to the latest polls), don’t even believe the official explanation given to them by the government. It’s called evidence, and there is an abundance of it.

 by Arjun Walia, Collective Evolution

One example, of a seemingly endless number of ambiguities surrounding 9/11, is the topic of “false flag terrorism.”

False flag terrorism is the idea that a government would stage a terrorist attack in their own country in order to justify war and the infiltration of a foreign country for their own purposes. This appears to have been the motivation behind 9/11, as well as several other ‘terrorist’ attacks which have occurred around the globe.

"The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al-Qaeda, and any informed intelligence officer knows this. But, there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an intensified entity representing the “devil” only in order to drive TV watchers to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the United States." – Former British Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook
This notion of false flag terrorism has become more substantiated for a few reasons. One of them is the documents which show that Western intelligence agencies have been funding and supplying the very same terrorist groups they claim to be “fighting” against for years, documents which clearly establish links between Al-Qaeda and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

More attention was brought to this possibility in the mainstream world when the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) mentioned it in 2004. It’s a well known fact that the United States funded Al-Qaeda 20 years ago

There is no shortage of information when it comes to the CIA/Al-Qaeda connection, and a simple Google search would suffice to show you that.
"Most terrorists are false flag terrorists, or are created by our own security services. In the United States, every single terrorist incident we have had has been a false flag, or has been an informant pushed on by the FBI. In fact, we now have citizens taking out restraining orders against FBI informants that are trying to incite terrorism. We’ve become a lunatic asylum." – David Steele, a 20-year Marine Corps intelligence officer, and the second-highest-ranking civilian in the U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence (You can read more about David, and find the source of that quote in this article.)

As soon as that connection was exposed, a new threat emerged… ISIS. Then, Sibel Edmonds, FBI whistleblower and founder of of the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition (NSWBC), said what many people were already suspecting, that the United States is simply reviving the terror scare with ISIS to promote the “terror war industry.” (source

The list literally goes on and on, and I thought I would leave you with this video about ISIS, created by award-winning journalist Ben Swann, which might give you something to think about regarding the ‘terrorists’ that were supposedly responsible for the events that happened on 9/11.

Another piece of information that people are still waking up to regarding 9/11 is the fact that over 2200 architects and engineers who come from the top of the industry and academia have crushed the ‘official’ 9/11 commission report.

“All three buildings were destroyed by carefully planned, orchestrated and executed controlled demolition.” – Professor Lynn Margulis, Department of Geosciences, University of Massachusetts at Amherst and National Academy of Science member, one of many academics who has been very outspoken regarding 9/11 (source) (source)

Below is a video interview with Richard Gage, the founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth, regarding the scientific inconsistencies which have been reported as truth surrounding all three buildings.

Don’t forget about building 7… the one that collapsed, the one that was not hit by a plane  at all (touched upon in interview below).

Furthermore, the firefighters that were actually called to the scene on that day have spoken out many times. Here is an article published earlier this year with a video of two firefighters who were in the buildings at the time, having no doubt that what they were hearing was multiple explosions.

Furthermore, the response (or lack thereof) to questions about 9/11 from those within the government has been quite revealing. Politicians are constantly cowering away, refusing to answer any questions at all when confronted. Here is a great example of Vice President Biden being asked.

The list of reasons as to why people are so suspicious is incredibly long, and for the interest of keeping this article as short as possible, I encourage you to further your research if you are just starting to wake up to this kind of information.
