War and Life: 25 paintings of everyday civilians Donbass
How is this possible in the XXI century? These frames are the lives of children and the elderly under fire, without
electricity, water and food will make any heart to contract [photo]

During the fighting in the south-eastern Ukraine, their homes were forced to leave nearly a million people. Shocking
figure. But worse for those who leave the Donbass in this terrible period of punitive action could not. Someone decided
not to leave elderly parents, someone could not carry the child, the other - just nowhere to run ... But you never know
what was the cause. But the fact is that in the Donbass were hundreds of thousands of civilians. How do they live?

Under fire (during ATO killed more than 3,500 people ), in constant fear. In dozens of settlements - shortages of
electricity, gas, water. In cities and towns, near which are the fiercest fighting, there are problems with food . And
it's not so much a lack of products (many stores large amounts), but a lack of money. Kiev pensions and salaries
since the spring does not list. And the People's Republic just starting payments to state employees. But also a very
wealthy citizens often can not buy your own food. Most bank branches are closed and there is no cash in the ATMs.

Under fire , yet operate hospitals, schools, utilities ...
In general, the Donbass lives. But how? Better to see once. We publish 25 photographs from the lives of ordinary
people in the DNR and LC for the last 3 weeks.
